Class of 2027 Schedule

Time Commitment

Participants should expect an average of 6-8 hours per month of mandatory Leadership Academy commitments, including training sessions, group coaching, capstone group collaboration, and continued learning assignments.

11 Training Sessions

  • 1 in-person orientation at the 2026 Leadership EDGE Conference (October 20-22, 2026)

  • 3 full-day in-person trainings scheduled in conjunction with the 2027 Winter, Spring, and Fall C.A.R. Business Meetings

  • 7 virtual training sessions, approximately 4 hours each

Group Calls

5-9 Group Coaching Sessions

Group coaching calls, one hour each, are held throughout the program to coach participants through specific, personal leadership challenges. Participants are expected to attend at least 5 of these coaching calls. 

Video Conference Meeting

Independent Capstone Time

Additional time outside of classes will be required in order to meet with assigned Capstone project teams and complete continued learning assignments. Group members are expected to meet periodically outside of scheduled sessions to collaborate, contribute ideas, and prepare their final project to be presented at the end of the program.
